Fireplace

My fascination with fireplaces began when i was a kid. My family home had one in the living room, and i remember how the whole house looked so much warmer,  more comfortable and more welcoming after starting up our fireplace. I would loved to lie down next to it,warm up my hands on hot red bricks, especially during winter,  watch the fire and listen to cracking of burning wood.

Now 10 years later i live in very warm climate, so having real chimney fireplace isn't just that necessary. But what about electronic fireplace? They don't need chimneys, they are easier to install,they safer, easier to maintain and would be better solution for people living in warmer climates but still wanting to have that charming fireplace effect at home.

Kitchen Island

I love kitchens with kitchen islands, so if you have kitchen big enough, here are the reasons why you should get it:
1.There is never enough space in your kitchen- kitchen island solves that problem.
2.It can act as informal dining area- extra seating space.
3.Makes your kitchen more functional and useful.

Flooring- Laminate Vs Timber

Laminate flooring is also less expensive, easier to clean and its harder to leave marks on it. Timber flooring on the other hand is made from real wood and looks more expensive.. I guess its up to you to decide what you prefer. For me both look amazing.
